The C Word...Cancer rather than COVID in this case!

This week's episode is a little different.

It's not specifically about my business journey, but it's related and relevant.

In celebration of being 10 years cancer free, I share the top 10 lessons of my last 10 years.

Honestly, each and every one of them led me here. To this life, business and podcast. To talking to you as you walk, run, drive, cook or wherever else it finds you.

BUT, unlike in my social media posts, I don't just share the lessons, I give you the full context of why & how they've each impacted me.

The 10 (actually 12, but who's counting!):

✅ Worrying about what might happen is a waste of your precious happiness

✅ If you don’t take time to reflect and connect with your true self, you will live not by design, but by accident

✅ Things aren’t nearly as important as experiences (especially the ones you share with your loved ones)

✅ When something doesn’t feel good in your soul, it’s genuinely time to move on (because life is short)

✅ You are capable of more than you realise

✅ Most people don’t live up to their potential and they’ve only themselves to blame

✅ In the words of Dr Seuss ‘those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind’

✅ Yes you should think about living a life you will one day look back on with pride

✅ Hard times pass (actually everything passes)

✅ If you don’t love yourself, you will continually limit your ability to have what you want 

✅ It’s never too late to change

✅ You were born for this one precious life!
